Our infrastructure ensures programmes represent the diversity of artists and contemporary visual arts practice. Our fee-paid advisers from across the UK complement and extend the knowledge and expertise of our staff, supporting strategic development and our knowledge base. From time-to-time, we seek new advisers and board members through open call.

AIR Council

The AIR Council, drawn from the English regions and Wales, steers AIR's programme including developing events and benefits for members, partnerships with other artists' organisations and research and campaigns to improve artists' representation.
