New ideas
We’re looking for research partners for 2009 projects and programmes.
Our Research papers including Leading through practice and Boxed in: how cultural policies constrict black artists were enabled though collaborations with experienced researchers and institutions, with a-n providing wide distribution of their pertinent, timely visual arts evidence, to support further debate and arts policy development.
We’re investigating new research areas For 2009/10, envisaged as enabled through seminars and publications and interactive online debate. Our particular interests include new models of visual arts practice, visual arts and cultural identity and widening access. We are also interested to hear from academic and cultural industries researchers who would like to interrogate our expansive, in-depth user-generated evidence – reviews, listings and artists’ projects blogs - within their studies.
