Film London is the capital's film and media agency, funded by the UK Film Council and the London Development Agency. It aims to sustain, promote and develop London as a major international film-making and film cultural capital. This includes all the screen industries based in London - film, television, video, commercials and new interactive media. Film London also benefits from significant funding from the European Regional Development Fund and Arts Council England London, and works closely with a number of partners, including Skillset and Visit London.

This call for submissions asks for single screen experimental moving image works of 20 minutes plus which have the potential to push the boundaries of the artform and that demonstrate a shift or step forward in the artists approach towards their practice. An opportunity for artists to devlop new moving image work in a unique and supportive creative environment. Following on from the successful Bristol Mean Time residency, the artist will be invited to produce and exhibit a new project within Picture This' Atelier, a large 220 metre square unit at Spike Island. In addition, this new work will be premiered in collaboration with Lighthouse at a venue in the South East.
