WHO: Experienced artists with an interest in public engagement. Artists will also need public liability insurance and experience of leading community workshops.
WHAT: 3 projects: community mural, empty shops project with heritage focus, artist engagement. The aims are to engage the community of Runcorn Old Town, and develop a creative outcome (e.g. mural, billboard, map, publication, temporary heritage centre).
WHEN: Date for applications to be received: February 4 Engagement with groups: February- mid March Outcomes delivered mid March onward
PAYMENTS: Mural project £5k (installation has additional funding) Empty Shops project £5k Artist engagement up to £4k
CHARGES: No expenses related to travel or accomodation will be paid.
