WHO: Freelance arts professionals who would like to gain experience of working as an Arts Adviser and have 2 years full time or 3 years part time experience working with young people.

WHAT: Full Circle Arts are accepting applications for Arts Award Advisers for the Source: Young Artists Development programme. Source: Young Artists is a service that falls under the Full Circle Artist Development program and is open to disabled 18 to 30 year olds who have a keen interest in pursuing the arts, developing skills, increasing knowledge and gaining experience. The Arts Award Advisers will provide silver Arts Award advice and guidance to those under 25 years old who wish to take the accreditation as part of the programme. Selected candidtaes will work with a person centred approach, provide arts awards support and ensure completion of the arts award and will also be responsible for assessment and ensuring portfolios are complete and ready to send off before moderation date. Arts Award Bronze/Silver Advisor Training is provided. 

WHEN: This is a freelance contract with a minimum of 20 hours over 10 months and a maximum of 60 hours dependant on how many participants choose to take the arts award accreditation as part of this programme of work. 

PAYMENTS: Full Circle Arts will cover the cost of training and pay a total of £200 per young person. The maximum number of young people an adviser can support over the year will be 3.

As well as the completion of the Bronze and Silver adviser training Full Circle Arts ask that advisers ensure they have a current CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) enhanced disclosure and show evidence of inclusive practice and an understanding of the social model of disability.
