WHO: candidates with a postgraduate qualification or equivalent in Fine Art, experience of teaching and researching in higher education and an active and on-going programme of research
WHAT: part time (0.5) Lecturer in Fine Art Theory
PAYMENTS: starting salary pa pro rata to £31,798, rising annually to £34,745
DETAILS: to be responsible for teaching and assessing on the Fine Art programme at Oxford Brookes University. The successful candidate will contribute to the administration of the undergraduate programme and to curriculum development in Fine Art as well as attracting external funding to support personal research. The successful applicant will also be expected to continue researching and publishing at a level commensurate with entry in the university's submission to the REF. Applicants should have the ability to make a contribution to the research culture of the school and to secure external funding for personal research, as well as research and teaching expertise in Fine Art, particularly from within the areas of contextual studies, art history and theory.
