WHO: recent graduates specialising in ceramics.
WHAT: eleven month residencies at Fireworks Clay Studio for recent graduates specialising in ceramics. The scheme aims to support two newly graduated ceramic artists through their first year of professional practice by offering a fully furnished studio space at a heavily subsidised cost with full use of all studio equipment for a period of one year. The successful applicants will be able to take full advantage of working alongside our full time professional members and gain vital exposure to gallery representatives and enthusiasts.
WHEN: starts 1 Sept.
PAYMENTS: subsidised rent and access to facilities.
CHARGES: studio fees are £50 + shared heating bills.
DETAILS: Fireworks Clay Studios is a cooperative based in Cardiff city centre providing studio space and equipment for ceramic artists. There are currently 15 ceramicists, a textile/book artist and a painter.
