WHAT: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Contemporary Art Practices/Theory & Practice
PAYMENTS: £32,901 - £52,706 pa
DETAILS: to play a key role in developing research and teaching in Contemporary Art Practices and collaborating with others within Duncan of Jordanstone, College of Art & Design and the University of Dundee. The College has strong interests in new emergent art practices, connections between theory and practice and art in the new age digital interaction and social media. Research in this area is currently supported by a variety of grants from a diverse range of sponsors including RCUK Digital Economy, AHRC and organisations such as Creative Scotland. Applicants will be expected to have research interests that either consolidate or extend one or more of these activities. The successful applicant will make a contribution to teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in a studio based teaching environment. PhD experience would be very useful as PhD supervision will form a key role of the post.
