Lecturer in Fine Art

WHO: applicants with a PhD in Fine Art or a related field (or award pending), a proven record of research in exhibition and/or published work and experience of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and a demonstrable capacity for original thought

WHAT: Full Time Tutor BA (Hons) Fine Art - Lecturer/Senior Lecturer

WHEN: fixed term for 2 years

PAYMENTS: £31,000 - £37,000, depending on grade and experience

DETAILS: to teach practice modules on the BA in Fine Art, MA in Fine Art and the Master of Fine Art (MFA) programmes at University of Leeds, in addition to supervising PhD students in practice based research. The successful candidate will be fluent with current practices located at the intersections between fine art, history of art, art writing and curation. The postholder will be expected to engage in research projects and external funding bids, and contribute to administration and enterprise activity.
