WHAT:
The Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop (ESW) and Edward Marshall
Trust (EMT) wish to commission artists and designers, working in teams, to
create furniture and ceramic designs for the new Sculpture Centre opening
in Newhaven, Edinburgh, designed by award winning architects, Sutherland
Hussey. A key element in the brief is to create designs which can be manufactured at
ESW’s new workshops. Design teams will be asked to work in consultation with
ESW’s users and experienced technical team to produce the furniture and
ceramics in-house.
PAYMENTS: design fees £20K
