Temple of the Occult
WHO: Artists in all media, Taxidermists. I am looking for artworks which explore occult themes. This could be sculpture, painting, print, installation, taxidermy- which look specifically at occultism, mythology, ritual, religious archaeology etc.
WHAT: "Temple of the Occult" is an installation type curatorial project for Norman Rea Gallery in York, showing this October. The exhibition aims to explore religious artwork from occult belief systems. It will take the form of an installation of an imagined Temple, representing the mythology, rituals and artefacts of occultism.
WHEN: 15-29th October 2012
CHARGES: A donation of £10 towards transport of the work from London to York would be appreciated but not essential.
