WHO: established and emerging artists, designers and makers who are skilled in brokering new partnerships, agile and responsive to specific places and individual people.
WHAT: SHOPPORTUNITY is a project to improve high street frontages supported by the Mayor’s Outer London Fund. The ambition is to forge creative partnerships between artists, designers and makers and local traders/service providers to create inspiring and vibrant treatments or interventions to high street frontages.
WHEN: Deadline for submission: Monday 24th September 2012. Interventions and treatments will be installed in two phases, in January and April 2013.
PAYMENTS: There are two bands of budget per high street frontage: Band A: Total value of £2,500 + VAT Band B: Total value of £5,000 + VAT
DETAILS: Treatments or interventions might be realised as special graphics to shutters, canopies or glazing, window installations, merchandise, sign writing, lighting, staff livery or product designs which support the presentation of goods for sale, to name a few options.
