WHAT: part time (0.7) Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Photography
PAYMENTS: £29,704 - £44,930 pa pro rata
DETAILS: to support the developing undergraduate and postgraduate photography portfolio at the University of the West of England. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of the discipline in relation to both taught programmes and research/knowledge exchange activity. The post holder will take a particular lead in sustaining the department’s commitment to employability, and will co-ordinate and lead aspects of the curriculum relating to professional practice, work experience, live projects, industry links and participation in national events. Candidates will be photography specialists confident in current practice and theory, and debates in all aspects of the subject. Applicants should be able to demonstrate that they are a professional practitioner and/or researcher in the field and be prepared to sustain and develop these activities alongside their teaching and administrative duties. He/she will have particular experience and expertise in the area of contemporary photographic practice and will be able to lead current modules and future development in this.
