Production Manager

WHO: candidates with exceptional level of practical and technical skills in all aspects of contemporary art production and management, with particular experience of working outside conventional contexts for the presentation of contemporary art

WHAT: part time (0.6) Production Manager. May be eligible for renewal, subject to funding.

WHEN: Fixed term from December 2009 until December 2010

PAYMENTS: £29,704 - £35,469 pa pro rata

DETAILS: to become a key member of a small team, responsible for technical development, delivery and maintenance of newly commissioned projects at University of the West of England. The successful candidate will be resourceful, patient, technically skilled and a great team player. You will be an accomplished maker, adept with a range of timber construction skills and other practical hands-on installation experience. You will show acute attention to detail, an exacting attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile for artists when necessary. You will be a good communicator with empathy for contemporary art and an innate understanding of the creative process.
