WHAT: Lecturer/Course Leader for Foundation Art and Design

PAYMENTS: £31,672, rising annually to £34,607

DETAILS: to lead, manage and administer all aspects of the Foundation Art and Design course at Oxford Brookes University. The successful candidate will be responsible for: leading and supervising a team of staff who will deliver the specific pathways of art and design on the course; curriculum design, planning and development of the course; teaching and assessment on the Foundation Art and Design course; contributing to the admissions process for Foundation Art and Design; leading staff and preparing students for UCAS applications; liaising with awarding bodies and working in accordance with their procedures; management of budgets. Applicants will have: a teaching qualification in further or higher education; experience of teaching and researching in further or higher education; excellent organisational and administrative skills; experience in managing and supervising a team of staff; the ability to make a contribution to the research culture of the school; the ability to secure external funding for personal research.
