AIR networks
Artelier
Established by Artquest, Artelier aims to enable artists with studios to indicate potential for studio exchange as well as to identify and arrange free accommodation or a studio when working overseas.
Once a member, users can create and update a free profile and provide details about a studio across the Artelier network. Using the 'Just browsing' function, artists can sign up to take advantage of Artelier's growing international network of artists. Access to Artelier is by invitation only through partner organisations worldwide, to make it safe and guarantee artist only use.
The project has already attracted participation from artists from Canada, Germany, France, Portugal, USA, Czech Republic, Belgium, Ireland and across the UK. The growing list of partner organisations in the UK includes ARC, Art House, ArtMatrix, Creative Skills, East Street Arts, Egerton Studios, Firstsite, NewWorkNetwork and Outpost. Now that AIR is a partner, its 11,000+ members gain an introduction and can become involved by offering and seeking spaces.
