Get your Payback!
AIR members now have a quick route to a share of £3m royalties by registering. AIR was accepted into DACS as a designated organisation to receive Payback.
If your work has been reproduced in a UK book, magazine or on specific television channels, you are entitled to claim. The money for Payback comes via the Copyright Collection Agency (CLA) that sells photocopying licences to schools, universities and businesses. DACS gets a portion of this income to pass onto visual creators.
If any of your work has been published in a UK book or magazine with an ISBN/ISSN number at any time, claims can be made by fine artists, illustrators and photographers alike. You can't claim for publications without an ISBN/ISSN or for television use before 2008 or programmes carried on anything other than the five terrestrial and eight BBC digital channels.
There is no charge when you make your claim as DACS just charges admin on any money you're entitled to receive.

It's quickest to claim online or you can download the Payback form and post it back to DACS.
Don't delay, find out more today as the claim deadline is 30 September for funds to be distributed in December.
