1. Inform It's the time of year to wish artists all good things for the festive season and coming year. May your practice flourish and your projects succeed. Look out for the New year survey to tell us what AIR should do next to help you. ARTISTS' REPRESENTATION An AIR priority is to advocate for more artists to sit on decision-making boards. Recent elections in South East England are promising, where Jon Adams and Emilia Telese sit alongside Stephen Turner, all AIR members. For more news of artists on boards see the a-n Magazine report. Following conversations with ACE National office's Andrew Brown in the Visual Arts Strategy office, AIR is active in trying to bring the views of independent artists to the regional Turning Point visual arts development groups. In South East England, although Elpida Hadzi Vasileva offered to join the group, the Turning Point Coordinator responded by saying that artists were already adequately represented through input from RFO reps from Artsway and Fabrica and Kate Adams of Project Art Works, also supported by ACE.
