Opportunity for artists working with sound [ 18 May 2012 ]
This is a unique opportunity for artists to create a sound installation in the toilets. South Square is looking for artists with existing sound pieces or those wishing to create a piece in specific response to the building and environment. The toilets are centred in the buildings' nineteenth century Grade II listed courtyard and serve a contemporary gallery and three other art spaces, alongside artists' studios, a cafe and other units. £500 residency opportunity for critically engaged artists [ 20 March 2011 ]
During the month of August 2011, the gallery space will be offered as a live in studio for artists to research and produce new work whilst engaging with the gallery visitors.
