The Mayor’s Thames Festival School Art Commission [ 16 February 2011 ]
The Thames Festival is seeking to commission an Artist/Arts Group to design and produce a large-scale river-themed structure, integrating the work of children from 100 London primary schools. The structure must: be river-themed; have a strong visual impact on site; work in daylight and after dark; integrate the creative contribution of children from across London through a workshop programme designed and delivered by the Artist/Arts Group; provide opportunities for on-site workshops over the festival weekend.
