Promotes and facilitates the flow of international arts into the UK, with the aim of improving cultural relations and awareness. Fosters mutually beneficial international contacts and activities at all levels through consultancy and advisory services, information, training and grant giving. Publishes a series of international cultural directories (including guides to Taiwan, Vietnam, Quebec, Norway, Israel, Hungary, and Souith Africa) and Visiting Arts, a calendar of events and exhibitions three times each year.

Apply for the Artist-to-Artist International 2009, an opportunity to initiate a dialogue with an overseas artist, enter into new working relationship on an open-ended and informal basis. Invited artists from the following countries are eligible: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bahrain, Cyprus, Egypt, Jordon, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Morocco, Oman, Palestine Territories, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Yemen.
