Fine Jewellery Making [ 15 March 2012 ]

Competition organised by Birmingham City University, School of Jewellery and supported by the Goldsmiths' Company. The competition covers skills required in the manufacturing of fine jewellery from precious metals. These skills have traditionally been referred to in the industry as 'diamond mounting'. WorldSkills UK are a framework of UK national and regional vocational skills competitions open to young people and adults in education or employment. This competition relates to the skills required in the manufacturing of fine jewellery from precious metals. WorldSkills UK are a framework of UK national and regional vocational skills competitions. Made to Measure is a fashion competition aimed at individuals who are either working or training in the fashion and design industry.
