Book Works is a contemporary visual arts publisher, based in London. In addition to the core activity of book publishing Book Works also produce text-based works, installations, multiples, videos and new media projects. Book Works is looking for proposals for a new series of quick-fire, rapid-response projects that reject the idea of culture as a playground for the elite; that engage in the potent mix of free discourse, solidarity and the production of new desires.
