Concrete Geometries- Spatial Form in Social and Aesthetic Processes [ 12 April 2010 ]
Set up as an cross-disciplinary Research Cluster 'Concrete Geometries' investigates the intimate relationship between spatial form and human processes. Bringing together art, architecture, sciences and humanities to connect fields of knowledge that are currently fragmented through disciplinary boundaries, two separate areas will be focussed on: Geometry and Perception and Geometry and Social Processes. This project will result in an exhibition, symposium and publication of 10 projects and 10 texts including works of art, design, architectural projects, case studies, urban studies, research papers and scientific experiments.
