Turning Point South West, working with Spike Island Associates, is offering a number of bursaries to help fund ambitious curatorial projects, including exhibitions, events and performances. Advisory support in connecting with arts organisations, venues and writers will also be available for successful applicants via Turning Point South West. In addition, bursary holders will attend a dissemination event where you will be asked to share your experiences of the project with an invited peer audience including fellow bursary holders. These could include major international art festivals including DOCUMENTA 13, Glasgow International, 7th Berlin Biennale, Manifesta 9, Liverpool Biennial as well as independently planned research trips to key locations. In addition, bursary holders will attend a dissemination event later in the year to share your experiences from the research trip with an invited peer audience including fellow bursary holders.
