Opportunity for a Designer/Senior Lecturer to join an outward facing department. The new BA (Hons) Three Dimensional Design: Idea Material Object defines itself by the convergence of craft practice and design process, it critically explores contemporary design and making issues on several fronts, most importantly in creativity, materials and technology. IMO students are encouraged to be independent thinkers, learning through workshop processes, developing skills in new technologies and experimental design techniques, with an emphasis given to material exploration. You will play a fundamental role in the development and delivery of the new degree course, discover ways of engaging the students with the Creative Industries and contribute to the research activity with the University.
