Fringe Arts Bath- Call for artists [ 17 February 2012 ]
Fringe Arts Bath is a visual arts festival showcasing early career artists and curators. Metamorphosis is an exhibition which will explore the action of changing. This could be in terms of form, substance, circumstances, character, or any other situation that involves change. It will highlight the constant state of flux that we exist in, and demonstrate the altering effects of time. Artists with work that will change over the 2 week period are encouraged to apply. Bath’s Fringe Visual Arts Festival [ 20 February 2010 ]
FAB is Bath’s only visual arts festival and we are looking for new projects and new people for 2010. We actively promote and celebrate contemporary art in the Bath area and beyond, showcasing early career artists and curators, and those who find it difficult to break into (or prefer to operate outside of) the gallery based art scene. FAB frequently uses “alternative”, temporary exhibition spaces - anything from street corners, shops and shopping centres to front rooms and cafés. We are a not for profit organisation and receive little funding, relying on enthusiastic volunteers to enable us to put on each year’s programme of shows and events. Read full listing…
