Artists Access to Art Colleges 2
WHO: applicants must have at least one years professional practice and be able to work with minimal technical support. If you were on AA2A from 2008 to 2009 you can now reapply. Applications welcomed from disabled artists, those from diverse backgrounds and non graduates.
WHAT:
the AA2A project offers artists and designer-makers the opportunity to undertake a period of research or realise a project using art college facilities, eg studios, workshops, lending library, and lecture programme. AA2A schemes aim to benefit students and Colleges through their interaction with practising artists.
WHEN: closing dates for applications vary between colleges but all are in September 2011. Access is for 100 hours to be used between October 2011 and April 2012.
PAYMENTS:
access is free - a grant of up to £220 is available for materials/some travel and childcare.
