WHEN: 14.5 hours per week
PAYMENTS: £8,164 - £9,188 pa
DETAILS: to assist with the day-to-day function and demonstration of a laser cutter and digital fabric printer plus support students in the development of fashion concepts at University for the Creative Arts at Epsom. Reporting to the Resources Co-ordinator, duties include use of a commercial standard laser cutter, digital fabric printer and related equipment and processes. The successful candidate will support staff and students in the use of specialist software including, Apple Final Cut Pro/Adobe Premiere (film & editing), Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign (Adobe Creative Suite), website design, and social media (blog design and twitter). They will use industry knowledge to support students in applying fashion concepts. You will assist with the preparation of teaching rooms / studios and mounting exhibitions, together with issuing loan equipment, contributing to the maintenance of technical resources, manipulation capture and editing of images. Candidates will have a confident, professional manner with strong team-working ability and excellent customer service skills.
