The Really Big Society

WHO: artists working in any medium.

WHAT: artists are invited to respond to the question of what 'The Really Big Society' might be, for exhibition as a part of Giving in to Gift. Some degree of public engagement with the people of Liverpool is expected in the creation of the artwork, though the exhibited piece may be anything from a sculptural form to documentation of performative interventions.

WHEN: the commissioned artwork will be shown in the Hub at the Bluecoat from 7 November, coinciding with a series of public interventions on 12 November as a part of the sister project Present in Public.

PAYMENTS: £400 plus £200 production budget.

DETAILS: unfortunately wall-based works cannot be considered.
