DETAILS: to lead and develop the technical staff and facilities of the Glasgow School of Art in order to support the School’s academic mission and plans. The successful candidate will also lead the process of briefing for the technical facilities in the enhanced technical services and facilities including the opening of new cross School technical workshops and digital labs in Autumn 2013. Candidates will be experienced technical managers, able to lead and embed the changes, working collaboratively across the Glasgow School of Art. Applicants will have: experience in the day-to-day and developmental management of a large staff team and experience of managing budgets; in depth knowledge of the significance of technical provision within an art, design and architecture institution
