AHRC Collaborative Doctoral Award (PhD), Digital Art
WHO: Studentships are open to UK and EU applicants. Candidates should hold a first degree at undergraduate level and a masters degree or have a proven track record of working continuously within industry or professional practice for a minimum of three years.
WHAT: This collaborative doctoral project will be a partnership between FACT Liverpool and Newcastle University's Culture Lab, and provides a unique opportunity for an ambitious practitioner who can gain invaluable academic and real life experience that is new in its kind.
WHEN: 3 year PhD. The expected start date is September 2012. Closing Date: 24th August 2012.
PAYMENTS: The successful candidates will be funded for 36 months with a standard rate AHRC stipend, currently £13,290 per year. The studentship will also cover all fees. There will be a budget to allow the PhD candidates to travel and engage in project activities between the collaborative institutions and beyond.
