WHAT: Leon School and Sports College is an 11-18 school, which was designated as a specialist Sports College in September 1998. Our outstanding facilities include a Sports Hall, Fitness Centre, Swimming Pool, Astroturf and spacious playing fields.The art department has second specialist status within the school and an Arts mark gold rating. It has a superb purpose-built facility and the school has a brand new Arts centre including theatre and gallery space. Our Department offers Art at KS3, GCSE and A Level with a high standard of teaching and learning within the department. Students achieved 90% A*-C at GCSE 08.The department has a strong art team of five including an Artist in residence.
