WHO: teachers focusing on the applied arts: ceramics, jewellery and textiles.
WHAT: this day of making, thinking and discussion is for art and design and design technology teachers and technicians working with KS3-4 and post-16, looking to broaden their understanding of contemporary craft practice and gain new ideas and practical skills for classroom projects.
WHEN: Friday 1 May, 10am – 4pm.
CHARGES: £140. Lunch and refreshments provided.
DETAILS: the day will be held at the Royal College of Art, and will include artist/alumni presentations, taster making sessions, tours of studios and workshops, discussion and networking opportunities. Please bring clothes that you do not mind getting messy or an apron.
