WHAT: an education officer to work on the visual and cross arts education programme.
WHEN: full time contract (maternity cover)
PAYMENTS: £23,640 to £28,010 pa inclusive of London allowance
DETAILS: the post holder will work as part of Barbican Education’s team to design and project manage a programme of work for schools, families, the local community and adult audiences. This will involve programming, planning, and administration, producing the event, financial management and evaluation of projects. The role will involve liaison with Barbican arts team; artists and speakers; and participant groups in schools and community groups together with staff across the Barbican.A comprehensive understanding of arts education together with excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills are required to deal with the demands of the job.
