WHO: We are looking for someone who is a graduate or student in a creative subject/arts management or has previous experience in working in an art studio or gallery context
WHAT: We are looking for an intern to work on a new art project, ‘Reading Room’ which explores lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer history, culture and politics. Reading Room will involve a 9-month research and development period, building on the successes of UHC’s earlier project ‘EXAM’.
WHEN: We are looking for an intern who will be available to work at least 2 days per week. After a 2 week trial the successful candidate will work for six months.
DETAILS: We are looking for someone who has a knowledge of, or passion for, LGBT history, culture and politics. Applicants should be resident in the Greater Manchester area, as they will be expected to work occasional evenings and weekends.
