Intergenerational Film Project Assistant
WHO: anyone interested in intergenerational arts.
WHAT: Magic Me, a leading provider of intergenerational participatory arts projects, seeks a volunteer to support staff in the development and delivery of a film that will challenge ageist assumptions. A great opportunity to learn about intergenerational projects, and to gain insight into the running of a busy and successful arts charity.
WHEN: one day a week, day TBC. A full day, 10am-5pm, is preferred to provide office based support as well as project support.
PAYMENTS: travel costs to and from home within London zones 1-6, reimbursement of any travel on behalf of Magic Me, plus a lunch allowance of up to £6 per day.
DETAILS: Tasks will include offering one-to-one support to project artists, practical support, administrative support, and researching ways of distributing the film and raising the online profile of Magic Me. In return, Maguic Me will provide a CRB check and weekly contact with a named supervisor, who can support you to get the most out of volunteering.
