ROSALIND DAVIS
London-based mixed media painter creating paintings of dystopian landscapes which incorporate paint embroidery and floral-print. Rosalind Davis is a graduate from the RCA and Chelsea College of Art and has exhibited nationally and internationally with work in private and public collections. In 2012 her work her work shall be entered into the Courtauld Institute East Wing X exhibition 2012- 13.
Between 2009-11 she co-founded, curated and managed Core Gallery a dynamic artist-led gallery space in Deptford London, working in collaboration with over 200 artists and
curators. Davis also co-founded and managed DIY Educate an artists professional development programme co-founded with Annabel Tilley. She has recently
left Core Gallery to set up a new artist led organisation ZeitgeistArtProjects where future DIY Educate events and curated exhibition will be housed.
She is a freelance lecturer for UAL, RCA and others, a creative practitioner As a writer she has contributed to The Guardian, a-n, Jotta and Artlicks. as well as an acclaimed blogger on a-n Artists talking.
