Laurence Payot is a French artist, living and working in the North West of England whose practice primarily incorporates intervention, installation and painting, often within a site specific and relational context. Laurence Payot finds her inspiration in everyday life, exploring and questioning seemingly familiar objects and phenomena. Her approach questions ways of seeing, seeking to make aware of the subtle poetry and peculiarity of the mundane.
