Aine Scannell

Aine Scannell M.F.A. (Barcelona) Initially trained as a painter though moved over to printmaking since 1997. Fine art practice includes printmaking using traditional media (mainly intaglio) and digital printmaking. This carries over into installations and bookart too. Widely internationally exhibited and have participated in numerous exchange projects. Have undertaken artists' residencies as well as community and museum /art gallery work. Size:  diameter 40 cm, 1.5 cm depth.Printed on Hahnemuhle 200 gsm (approx)  paperThis is the second  tradigital version of Ice Babies.  It was made for exhibition initially in Reyjkavik therafter reworked and shown at Fresh Art, at the Business and Design Centre in Islington. North London.  It was shown in a display of work by the Printmakers Council UK.
