Hi Sophie, I don't do 'intended responses' so your laughter is absolutely fine. ..... I make work, put it out there, and then let anyone who happens upon it make their own mind up and react in anyway they see fit. .... In any case a little laughter is never a bad thing :O)

this made me laugh! sorry if not intended response! Hits a note for me as my work is in Artefacts of Failure this week - an exhibition celebrating the failed work - I CLAIM ALL OF THESE COMMENTS! win and lose together - hurrah!

let's explore a-n blog images

The original uploaded image was 1000 pixels wide by 100 pixels high. A-N reduces this to 155px x 15px on the blog page and 479px x 48px on the image page.

Thanks Sophie, yes I covered the lack of formatting in the comments quite early on in the blog (at least I think I did). If not then we have covered it now ;O)

aargh - how frustrating! comments box doesn't keep spacing formatting - grrr.......

That was a surprise. I had no idea such a tall image was possible in the preview here on the blog page. My guess is it must be related to the width too. Something to explore next maybe...

I have a post for image order coming soon. Reverse chronology takes some getting used too, but it is the only logical order for a log, otherwise everyone would need to shuffle to the end to see the latest post.

posted on 2012-09-12 by David Riley

Hi David - great new blog! Yes, only five images and I've found the last image is the one that gets posted not the first, so it requires shuffling and/or placing images in reverse order if they convey a narrative - which is counter intuitive and rather illogical. I've found this with multiple part posts too - the last has to be first, that is part 2 published first, then part one published next, in order to read it properly on the platform.

Each post has a limit of five images. After that the add image link is not available.

Each original image is 1000px x 1000px. On the post page they are 155px x 155px and on the image page they are 479px x 479px. The fifth or last of however many images will be the image to appear in the projects blog list thumbnail where it will be 100px x 100px.
