# 2 [1 May 2012]

Nearly finished my final piece for me second year. Been having kittens over it!

Its a charcoal drawing so lots of rubbing out and starting again! Ive enjoyed doing a large piece, as ive found ive been able to be more expressive and bold, in terms of mark making.

Only one week left till hand in date! (sigh of relief) then 4 months off over the summer! waaaayhay! lots of time to produce work for Marlborough Open studios! :)

# 1 [17 April 2012]

sooooo today Ive started this blog, down to the pressure of doing one for my professional practice module....I am not really sure what to post or write about, so i am just going to write what comes to mind.

Today we had to think about our dissertation propossal which was extremely frightening! have no idea on the artists I want to write about, i feel i want to write about traditional vs contemporary drawings, as i want to learn more about art history.

Ive Just finished 5 more collagraph plates all sealed and ready to be printed tomorrow! Will post a picture of the outcomes as i am excited to see them!

Not sure how to sign off. (maybe reading more bloggs will help me develop this one)!

If anyone has any tips feel free to share! :)

My practice explores the concept of human and natural interference with the landscape. I am intrigued in how the Earth is continusously changing, down to many forms of erosion.
