# 42 [3 November 2011]

Were as the months gone, lots as happen. My daughter gone to New Buckingham  University. So I have spent a lot of the Summer working lots of extra Hours to save some money to get all house hole stuff she needed . You forget how much stuff you need to set up home...

So not much artwork done but lots of thinking about it. Sent of some proposal One as the go ahead so busy with this project at the.. Some technical problems which I need to get my head around. Also still need to get my hands on some materials. But it will be it will come together.  

Gratudated last week with was great I enjoyed it more this time round. Just one sad part my Daughter could not be there. But my mum and Dad come.. Sister and her children came after of a meal which was great as they knew I would miss Ellie so much..

Yesterday went to set up an exhibition in The Willow Gallery, Oswestry. It went well the group exhibition looks great.

I can't go to PV as I am working, I am finding a bit difficult at the moment to fit things.

Were as the weeks gone? Not much art done. Been catching up on family stuff and had a great Holiday with my family in Jamicana. Now I am ready to start on a new Project. Sent in one proposal but not heard anything but I might just start it anyway as I my really excited about the ideas.   

Join a new art group too. So I am also working on ideas for them too. Need to keep going so life does not take over.

Well I have completed my MA Show up and PV was Friday, it runs forv two weeks. I have mixed feels about finishing. releave it's all over but regrate as I  have finished studying may be i need to do Phd. Not get thou....

University as put me further ward for an award. Had an interview on Friday with 3 other students have to wait and see.

i am also part of the BVA open Studios the next two weeks. So got work up in Willow Gallery Oswestry.

Well I have handed my Dissertation in, Had a two glass of Cava to celebrate. formative Assessment tomorrow, Just getting things together. Still got one sculpture to finish by 26th which is no problem but will not finish for tomorrow.

Been working on cardboard sculpture making it taller. works well just have to balance it and do n ot breath on it.

took photos of it in my kitchen as it as the only wall it will fit on with out moving everything.

Just been so busy my daughter was 18 on Friday the royal Wedding day, and working more because of all these bank hoildays.

Anyway nearly finished getting worried about leaving Uni. Hoping I do not get swallowed up by my family stuff and work. Will have to get sending off proposal now so it will not happen.

Book studio space last week and this week. Got a lot done got a lot more to do but not worrying I have nothing for my MA show. Still got some of my dissertation to do but thats coming together too. I have enjoyed doing my research and have learnt so much about my practise and want I am about. It as develope and push my prastice and research into deawing with light and shadow.    

# 36 [7 March 2011]

Just had 5 days off work, so I have been busy making art. or in my case playing. My dinnering room becomes my studio at this time.

I have started looking for a studio/workshop as I do a lot of cutting and sawing. Need space to make a mess.

I need now to book a studio space in Uni to see if my sculpture I structure will cast shadows on the wall then light up I am looking for. This is when I know I need  to rent a studio. 

Been a great weekend...

 I compeleted my final draft of my Dissertation, yesterday Roger reading though it then I will hand it in to my Tutor on Thursday Fingers-Cross I  hope don't  have do much to it after.

I can now start on my studio prastice, I have enjoyed doing my research which will inform my work I know. Just cannot wait to get down to it, Working until wednesday then 5 days off. Art here I come.....

My head full of ideas just hopev they work out like they are in my head.... Got two group Exhibitions coming up in June.. Had a some invition for pospals but will not be able to do them still need to get MA finished.....

Been Writing about Olafur Elliasson for my Dissertation He his so inspiring His Conversation with Robert Irwin 'Take Your Time' is worth a read..

It's awhile since I wrote anything, Dissertation work and family life took over my art, but I am not working next week. So art art here I come....
