i am going to be designing and carving a map of paris out of linoleum so i can print it, to the size of 180cm X 150cm and will show stages here when they occer, im also thinking of time lapse video when i start carving in a months time
freelance lino carving artist, working with typography and image to create traditional works of art that look contemporary!. also trying new things like Linomation, Hand Carved Animation from Linoleum.

carving of paris map is coming along nicely! after about 6 months! its i think 2 weeks away from being completed!. i have posted some pictures of the progress on the last few images of the work in progress flickr set:

Paris map is now Finished!! I Now have to get it printed! which is not going to be an easy task due to the carvings size!. very much looking forward to seeing it printed though! after two months of carving, pretty much none stop, so 7 days a week nearly.. i need to see it printed!..

Just something i want to do!. I have lots of things i would like t do!. ha they just take so much time that i dont have!. good that im obsessive compulsive!. it helps for sure!.

wow..... thats very impressive. I cant wait to see the prints either. Is this commissioned or have you decided that it is something you want to do anyway? bloody amazing actually.
