The Annual Postcard Show

Now in its 6th year, the show has invited artists to submit work the size of a 6”x4” postcard. Whether from within Nottingham or as far away as Japan, whether 2D or 3D, sculpture, illustration or textile, by an amateur or a professional, every piece submitted is exhibited – and on sale for only £20. Think what a unique Christmas gift that would make!

This December, Surface Gallery will reopen its doors in a new location with an old favourite: the Annual Postcard Show.
The show will run from 6th-20th December, with a private view on Friday 5th from 6 - 8pm at the gallery’s new home on Southwell Rd, Sneinton. Though no longer at the Voluntary Action Centre, Surface Gallery will continue to support emerging local and international artists as an entirely volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation.
