My course involves alot of thinking and planning. which type of art would you like to create? what do you want your art to say?
Modern, colourful, theraputic, happy.
These are all words that describe a few pieces of my work.

I started this course Sept 2006 and thought that it will take ages but its amazing how quickly life does actually go! I have my degree show on the 1st June 2009 and can't wait. just go out and enjoy yourself! My artwork is all about being happy and coping mechanisms. Finding a way to make you feel happy through the problems we have to deal with.

I have created a few pieces of photography which are calming, bright and mesmerizing in colour. I made these pieces through some art therapy work I did in college.
The only thing people search for in life is happiness. When something goes wrong, we look for something that will make us feel happy instead of miserable, but, if we didnt get miserable, we wouldnt have to search for happiness.

Alot of my work is based on movement, body movement. I simply hung fabric from the ceiling which would force the body to move around it and also move the fabric at the same time. whilst the fabric was hung, I then documented the movement of the fabric from underneath which gave me this swirly round affect of the fabric. Whatever artwork I produce, I need it to be unpredictable and exciting.

so, only a couple of weeks left!
had ideas streaming through my mind but its just deciding on which ideas to use!
i will be hanging ribbon type fabric and the viewers can then interact in the work by moving the ribbons of choosing their favourite colours by how they make them feel and then choose where they want to place the ribbon! i want it to be bright, colourful and dream like!
ive been planning the materials i need and trying to work out how lon git will take to put up!!
will let you know how i am getting on!!
