This project is an investigation into my obsession with knitting. During the last couple of years I have been incorporating knitting or platting in all my installations and it doesn't seem to stop, so I will continue to knit.....
A 2009 BA Fine Art graduate from Wirral Art School. This year I was given a Fellowship where i graduated, which has been a great opportunity to kick start my practice. I make installations which usually incorporate sewing or knitting.

Welcome to my blog!
This blog will be about the project I have just started which is an investigation into knitting! At the moment I am knitting small trees which started of being maquettes for a collaborative project I am doing with another artist. They have now turned into their own piece, I want to have loads of them. The material I have been using is sheets ripped up into strips, I will then use these strips to knit the trees. The choise of material and the size of the knitting needles have meant that the trees are very sturdy and can stand by themselves without support.
I am still not quite sure what will come out of this project but I am looking foreward to the journey.
