Landscape/Portrait (www.landscape-portrait.com) is a collaboration between artist Kevin Carter, artists, communities from around the UK.
The project presents self-portraits of real people across England and Scotland and compares them with the demographic portraits that exist based on official statistics for their postcode area, whilst creating a unique view of the region, its people, places and communities.
Over the past eight years, Kevin Carter London (UK) based media artist and co-lab projects founder, has created a range of award wining art works. In 2004 he was nominated for a BAFTA and recently his work for Burnley Borough Council was instrumental in the council winning a regional RTPI Award and being short-listed for National Awards 2007.
