Visual art exhibitions and events with a platform for critical writing
International fairs are a great opportunity for researching galleries and making contacts, here is a selection of just some of the 150 showing at this years Frieze Art Fair. Galleri Christina Wilson, Copenhagen Having worked as a curator in different art institutions in Denmark, art historian Christina Wilson founded her eponymous gallery in 2002. Located in the progressive Islands Brygge district of Copenhagen alongside other leading Danish galleries such as Nicolai Wallner and Nils St?, the gallery is situated in an old factory building and has already gained a reputation for its serious focus on contemporary art. The space is large (250 sq m) and flexible and one of the most beautiful gallery spaces in Denmark. The gallery works with both emerging Danish artists including Kirstine Roepstorff, John K?r, FOS, Mette Winckelmann, Ulrik M?r, and Jesper Just as well as artists from abroad Jon Pylypchuk (Canada), Les Rogers (USA) and Piero Golia (Italy).
