Lincoln Art Programme has worked beyond the confines of a gallery space since 2009. Its nomadic approach to curating immerses everyday sites and spaces throughout the county in contemporary practice, prompting the audience to question and reconsider the familiar. Its current programme 'Trivia of Eccentric England', has seen a ten-day series of subtle interventions by artists Uddin and Elsey within the waiting rooms of Lincoln Central Railway Station, drawing on the British fascination with railways. Playing railway themed board games, watching train spotting videos and listening to train inspired music, the audience was immersed in a world of locomotion.
